They are low on the "therapeutic index," making them safe for long term use. When taken daily, they can help our body and mind adapt to stress.
In this class, we learn how adaptogenic herbs affect our bodily functions, and how they can help us combat emotional and physical stress, digestive disorders, anxiety, hormonal issues, and more. We will discuss common adaptogens (Ashwagandha, Eleuthero, Tulsi, and more) to learn which may be right for our own constitution, as well as how to incorporate them into our daily lives, diet, and lifestyle.
